As the Bridge is closed at the Esquimalt Lagoon we hope the public finds their way down Metchosin Road to Lagoon Road and follows it down to Heatherbell Road, before the hit the lagoon. Oh, they will be pleasantly surprised when they come in for a visit. The tea will be in the lower gallery and fresh baked cookies give a warm welcome to view the next show. "Through the Lens" features over 30 different photographers with Points of view.
I'm sure anyone that finds the Coast Collective Gallery and Gift Shop is going to spend at least half the time they planned on spending at the beach poking through the rooms and 11 acres of wonderful grounds . Hey they might even forget the beach for this visit and stay a few hours perusing the gift shop 100 local artists and crafts in four rooms of the 1928 mansion on the lagoon.
I sure hope they remember to go to the beach the next time they drive by our Blue Bird on the Coast Collective signs out on the road, and not just turn in for another visit with the artists because this time they will find different artists on site, doing different things .
I bet they will sign up for a stained glass class because they have always wanted to learn how to create something beautiful and this is the place to do it. Or take a beginner painting class.
I'd even venture that the next show they come to see they will bring a friend!
